Our Team

  • President

Scott has spent most of his 67 summers in Brant Rock and has a great love for the Brant Rock community. He retired three years ago and has the time, interest and skills to help us improve our Village.

  • Vice President

Paul has lived and worked in Marshfield for over 50 years. Owning property in Brant Rock for over 37 years, he has been active in Brant Rock affairs for quite some time, as community engagement has played and continues to play an important role in Paul’s personal and professional lives.

Aside from Paul’s Original Brant Rock Village Association Vice President role, Paul served as the former Master of the Daniel Webster Lodge A.F. & A.M. and was involved with the Marshfield School Committee, fulfilling the roles of Member and Chairman. Throughout these former roles, Paul furthered his dedication to the Town by forming part of the Town Administration Search Committee, the Ventress Building Revitalization Committee, and the High School Building committees. In his free time, Paul is an active member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Boston.

  • Interim Secretary

After many years working in information technology, with the latter part of my career in technology sales, I recently retired.  My husband, Kevin, and I were born and raised in Hyde Park and chose to raise our three children in Westwood.  As empty nesters, we decided to sell the family home and chose Marshfield as the best place to spend our next chapters.  Marshfield was not new to us—we spent many vacations over many years renting beach cottages with friends and family. We knew someday, if we were fortunate enough, Marshfield would be our final destination. Fifteen months since we’ve moved in, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Brant Rock is a special place.

I look forward to my continued involvement in this vibrant community via the OBRVA and enjoying all this seaside community has to offer.

  • Treasurer

Most of my working career was with the telephone company as both an employee and a contractor after an early retirement. I am currently working as the librarian at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility. I have been a resident of Marshfield since 1980, and the Brant Rock neighborhood since 2000.

I have been a member of various town committees or boards since coming to town. I was on the Marshfield Duxbury League of Women Voters, Library Bldg. Committee for five years until it was built, the Housing Authority, the Beach commission, Town Meeting Review Committee, Town Administrator Search Committee and am now on the Historical Commission to name a few. I would like to see Brant Rock be a vibrant, thriving community.

  • Director

Merri began coming to Marshfield to visit her grandparents at one week old, spending most of her summers visiting the beach with her family. After living the last several years in Rexhame, she moved to Brant Rock in 2023.

Merri loves the community of Brant Rock and spends as much time as she can sitting on her porch to watch the world go by and talking to her neighbors on their walks.  She is excited to work with the OBRVA to advocate for the village.
